This historic hotel was built in the 1930's and was recently extensively restored to its former glory: high ceilings, large airy rooms and striking wide wooden staircases give it a sense of grandeur, and the beautiful large pool outside, surrounded by tropical leaves and a lush garden, is an impressive sight in itself.

With under 30 rooms, this cosy hotel feels intimate and homely. The 23 Deluxe Rooms are reminiscent of Thirties Indochina with their polished rosewood four poster beds, elegant lamps and en suite marble bathrooms. The two Executive Suites and single Junior Suite come with spacious living rooms, in which you can take a seat and rest in peace and privacy at the end of the day.

We recommend enjoying a drink in the classical La Belle Epoque Lounge Bar, before dining at the Belle Epoque Brasserie on international or traditional fare. A varied selection of wine compliments the cuisine served here, as does the cosmopolitan atmosphere that surrounds you.

While Settha Palace is one of the smartest hotels in the city, it is worth noting that service, food and décor have been known to miss the mark from time to time. However, any shortcomings are quickly forgiven when one sees the inviting pool! Plus, its central location just on the edge of Old Town means that this property provides easy access to a number of nearby restaurants and is a short drive from the most popular cultural sites.
