Award-winning The Oyster Box is a Durban landmark established in 1947. Located on Umhlanga’s smart beachfront opposite the iconic Umhlanga Lighthouse, The Oyster Box has direct beach access from the hotel and panoramic views over the glorious Indian Ocean.

There are 86 luxurious rooms, suites and villas to choose from. The Sea Facing Deluxe Suite is a glamorous choice with private terraces and tiled plunge pool. The Garden Villas, decorated with striking botanical prints, can be combined with Loft Rooms for families.
