Nestled in the very heart of the dramatic and beautiful NamibRand Nature Reserve, Wolwedans Dune Lodge is a perfect spot to explore this unique and diverse desert habitat. Built on stilts, and constructed mainly from wood, Wolwedans Dune Lodge is made up of an imposing central area, 8 tented chalets and the Mountain View Suite. The main area has two lounges, two dining rooms, multi-viewing decks, a library, swimming pool (on stilts) and bar. The canvas, untreated wooden floors, muted walls, leather armchairs and handwoven rugs reflect the warm and effortless hospitality found at all the Wolwedans properties.

All the tented chalets are built on stilts, accentuating the 360-degree view from the generous wrap-around veranda. Inside, the chalets are decorated with creams and whites and each has its own hand-carved bed, separate bathroom, writing desk and comfy sitting area. For those in search of a little more seclusion and space, the Mountain View Suite offers both and is a perfect nest for honeymooners! 

Activities available from the lodge include scenic desert drives, walking safaris or for something a little more special, there is hot-air ballooning on offer - a perfect way to take in the arid landscapes and distinctive dunes from the air. Alternatively, unwind with drink in hand around the pool-with-a-view.
