Only an hour's drive from Kathmandu, this wonderful mountain hotel offers sensational views of the surrounding valley and Himalayan peaks. The red brick bungalows are built in traditional style with thatched roofs and contain simple but comfortable rooms. The resort's gardens are lovely and the staff are welcoming however it is a little noisy due to its close proximity to the road. The Dhulikhel is a good stopover point en route to or from Tibet.
